How I Work

A clear process.
Your decisions at every stage.

Start with a practical brief. Build a shared understanding of the work. Keep supplier information, open questions and decisions organised.

01

Share the furniture brief

Tell me what you need, how many pieces, where they will be used and your destination. Include target specifications, budget range and timing where available.

Stage outcome · A brief with the main requirements and unanswered questions.
02

Agree the work before it begins

I review the request and confirm what is feasible. We agree the tasks, deliverables, fees and timing in writing before paid work starts.

Stage outcome · A written scope and fee agreement.
03

Research, clarify & compare

I look for potential manufacturers, organise initial information and coordinate supplier questions and quotations within the agreed scope.

Stage outcome · Supplier information, comparable quotations and open issues.
04

Review your options

You review the information and decide which suppliers, samples or revised specifications to pursue. Unconfirmed supplier statements remain clearly identified.

Stage outcome · Your written decisions and instructions for the next step.
05

Confirm any further support

Purchasing follow-up is agreed around the actual project. Site visits, production monitoring, inspections and logistics require separate feasibility, scope and fee confirmation.

Stage outcome · A clear handover or a separately agreed next stage.

Before we begin

A few useful answers.

Clear expectations make the work easier to plan.

Who chooses the final supplier?

You do. I organise research and help clarify options. The final supplier choice and purchasing decisions remain yours.

How are service fees agreed?

Fees are discussed for your actual requirements and confirmed in writing before paid work starts. There is no fixed price or assumed commission published here.

Can I request inspections or shipping support?

You can ask. These services need a separate feasibility review and written agreement covering the work, execution arrangements and fees. They are not included by default.

Does a shortlist guarantee supplier performance?

No. Initial screening is based on the information available. Supplier claims, samples, documents and purchase terms need appropriate review before you commit.

A clear place to start

Bring your brief. We’ll clarify the next step.

A product list, quantities and destination are a useful starting point.
